NRCCFI is helping recruit SUSU Youth Team members!

SUSU Youth Members:

  • Advocate for a more just criminal legal system that SEES and SUPPORTS youth who have/had an incarcerated parent. 
  • Build community with youth locally and across the country.
  • Meet new people, have fun, and make a difference while earning $17/hour.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet on Zoom with the Youth Team to create content for SUSU month.
  • Youth who live in the same area may collaborate in-person on projects.
  • Contribute ideas for SUSU events and calls to action. 
  • Identify ways that people can support youth with incarcerated parents.  
  • Identify and create content for the SUSU website and social media.  
  • Develop a promotional strategy to let youth know about SUSU.
  • Create content for socials: videos, Tiktoks, podcasts and more. 
  • Spread the word about the SUSU Art contest, review art, and select winners! 
  • Share your wisdom, insight, and expertise to make SUSU 2024 awesome. 
  • Be in community with youth with incarcerated parents. You are not alone!
