The Children of Incarcerated Parents Library

More than one in 28 children in the United States has a parent in prison. The loss of a parent to incarceration means a crisis for that child. Concerned people in all settings are dealing with children of incarcerated parents and their caregivers daily, but in most cases without benefit of training or specific information.

We are currently working on updating the COIP library. Please reach out to us at nrccfi@camden.rutgers.edu for these resources.

Incarcerated Fathers Library

This Library contains a number of pamphlets that contain helpful information for incarcerated fathers and those that serve them.  Topics include how to prepare a child for a prison visit and to how to tell a child that their father is incarcerated. Please reach out us for more information.
