Carol F. Burton named Transitional Director of National Resource Center on Children and Families of the Incarcerated at Rutgers Camden

We are pleased to announce that the NRCCFI has engaged Carol F. Burton, MSW to serve as Transitional Director.   In this interim role, Ms. Burton will lead the process to re-envision the work of the National Resource Center on Children and Families of the Incarcerated at Rutgers – Camden (NRCCFI), while building on the legacy and extensive body of work that Ann Adalist Estrin, Founder, and Director, has created. In this role, Ms. Burton will respond to requests for technical assistance and engage a pool of content experts to deliver consultations and training.  She will also lead an ad-hoc working group to guide the Center’s transition, establish and implement strategic priorities and support the recruitment of the next NRCCFI Director. This is a critical time in the Center’s history, and we are fortunate to have a close friend and long-time colleague of Ann Adalist Estrin step into this role. Ms. Burton’s reputation and expertise make her the ideal person to lead this process.  Please continue to monitor the NRCCFI website for updates and reach out to us via email with anything you may need.
