Ann Adalist-Estrin passed away on April 11, 2024. Ann was a tireless advocate for children and families and was named a White House Champion for Change by President Barack Obama in 2013. Through her training and policy work, she educated countless individuals in the United States and abroad about best practices related to families affected by incarceration. Ann was also an excellent teacher and colleague and will be missed by many of her friends, colleagues and students at Rutgers – Camden and beyond.
